About the National Law University Odisha
National Law University Odisha is a public law school and a National law University in India located at Cuttack, Odisha. It was established in 2008 under the National Law University Odisha Act, commencing its first batch from July 2009. The University has received recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 12(b) of the UGC Act 1956, and has been receiving grants under the XIIth Plan. Its degrees offered are recognised by the Bar Council of India. It is also an associate member of the UGC-INFLIBNET, and a participant in the National Knowledge Network under the Ministry of Information Technology and Communication, Government of India.
About the CCL
The CCL, NLUO as it is called, is an initiative of National Law University Odisha, Cuttack to promote interdisciplinary research in corporate law, and related fields like insolvency, commercial arbitration, securities, competition law, etc. The CCL, NLUO aims at creating an effective platform of discussion and discourse on latest issues and challenges in corporate law and related areas to come up with logical solutions and create awareness among the law students and the academia about the same.
About the Webinar
CCL is actively seeking possible opportunities for conducting webinar series/guest lecture series on various contemporary issues emerging under the various subjects of corporate law in India as well as abroad.
