The Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee (CADR) is pleased to announce a webinar on “Role of Lok Adalats in Ensuring Access to Justice in India”, to be delivered by Prof. Aravindan Anandan on 15th February 2026 at 10:00 AM.
The session will provide an overview of the legal provisions relating to the setting aside of arbitral awards and discuss the broader principles governing judicial intervention in arbitration matters. It will also focus on the practical dimensions of challenging arbitral awards in real-world scenarios, including strategic considerations, common grounds raised before courts, procedural aspects, and the impact of such challenges on enforcement and commercial relationships.
About Speaker
Advocate Sanjay Shisodia is an independent legal practitioner based in Delhi, specializing in complex litigation and commercial arbitration. He holds an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Laws from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS). With a practice focused on the intricate legal landscapes of the capital, Sanjay has extensive experience managing wide-ranging and high-stakes commercial matters.
