About the Job

They are looking for a Research Associate for the Keshav Desiraju India Mental Health Observatory (IMHO).

Eligibility

• Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Law, Public Health, Public Policy, or allied disciplines  
• At least 2 years of work experience in the fields of mental health, public health, law, and policy reform, social justice, and other allied fields  
• Strong research skills in both qualitative and quantitative techniques 
• Proficiency in written English – academic and policy writing
• Prior experience in communication, advocacy, and network building  
• Proficiency in Hindi (verbal and written) 

Responsibilities

• Conduct research by collecting, collating, and analyzing existing data, metrics, and information on the mental health system in India 
• Develop and disseminate research outputs and publications (annual reports, briefs, newsletters, white papers, etc.) 
• Develop and maintain the IMHO website and data platforms 
• Develop linkages and coordinate with civil society organizations, policymakers, and other stakeholders as part of the IMHO’s institutional mechanism for collaborative research 
• Organise consultations and dissemination events at a national, state, and local level
