About the opportunity

We are looking for a associate in our Insolvency & Restructuring Practice.

Roles and Responsibilities

-Underwriting of cases pertaining to interim finance (end to end);
-Conducting the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process under IBC, 2016;
-Management of the affairs of the corporate debtor;
-Taking over the control of the assets of the corporate debtor;
-Constitutes the Committee of Creditors;
-Management of the operations of the corporate debtor as a going concern;
-Preparing the information memorandum;
-Examining the resolution plan;
-End-to-end understanding of Insolvency process – Including Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process, Liquidation Process, Pre-Pack Insolvency Resolution Process, etc.

Eligibility

-1 to 4 years of experience in working with a Registered Insolvency Professional or a Registered Insolvency Professional Entity (“IPE”);
-Qualified CA/CS/LL.B. and must have completed the Graduate Insolvency Programme (“GIP”) by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (“IICA”); and is eligible for registration as an insolvency professional under IBC 2016;
-Experience in conducting the proceedings of CIRP end-to-end and in ascertaining the operations of the corporate debtor as a going concern;
-Experience in Corporate Business Restructuring;
Deep understanding and experience in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.
