About the Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur
Since its inception, Symbiosis Law School Nagpur has always been striving to provide its students with an academic and industrious environment to nurture them to their fullest potential. With this aim in mind, we organize numerous events to broaden the horizons of legal education. As a step in this direction, the Research & Publication Cell in collaboration with the Website, Media, and PR Cell of Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur has organized a Lecture series called the “Distinguished Lecture Series.” Being a law school, it is our responsibility to foster such surroundings for their holistic understanding of Law and the Constitution of India in particular. With this aim in mind, we have created this platform where distinguished members of academia, public intellectuals as well as members of the Bar and Bench will share their expertise with the students. This lecture series is open for the participation of law students across Institutions.
About the Lecture Series
The ‘Distinguished Lecture Series’ on the theme “Constitutional Law” was launched on 16th December 2020. The inaugural lecture of the series was delivered by Prof. (Dr). Dilip Ukey, Vice-Chancellor, Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai on the topic ‘Constitutionalism and Constitutional Morality in Contemporary World’.
The second lecture of the series is scheduled for 9th January 2021 at 11 AM. Dr. Nuzhat Parveen Khan, Dean, School of Law, Bennett University is going to deliver a talk on the topic ‘Woman and Law: Possibilities of Feminist Jurisprudence’.
