About the Job
UJA Global Advisory is looking for a Senior Legal Associate to join its legal advisory team at Magarpatta, Pune.
Eligibility
- LL.B., B.A. LL.B. or B.B.A. LL.B. from a recognised university.
- 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm, legal consulting firm or corporate legal function.
- Experience in commercial contracts, corporate advisory, labour law, IP, M&A, due diligence or transaction support is preferred.
- Strong legal drafting, research, analytical and communication skills.
- Excellent English. Marathi will be an added advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, deadlines and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate and vet commercial, corporate and transactional agreements.
- Prepare legal notices, opinions, advisory notes and correspondence.
- Support legal due diligence and transaction assignments.
- Advise on corporate, commercial, employment and labour, IP, data privacy and regulatory matters.
- Draft and review policies, SOPs and compliance documents.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research and prepare client updates.
- Manage contracts, documentation and compliance processes.
- Coordinate with clients, external counsel and internal stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members and ensure quality deliverables.
