Mercator by Citco is hiring a Senior Analyst – Legal and Compliance (Legal Officer).
The role involves supporting senior lawyers in delivering corporate subsidiary governance services, preparing legal documentation throughout the company lifecycle, managing statutory filings, coordinating with global stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Eligibility
Applicants should have:
- Qualification as a Company Secretary and/or a Degree in Law.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate secretarial practice.
- Experience in providing corporate services to international clients.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior lawyers in providing corporate subsidiary governance services to clients with global operations.
- Prepare and review legal documents throughout the company lifecycle, including incorporation, ongoing corporate maintenance, and dissolution.
- Perform and monitor statutory filings with relevant local authorities.
- Coordinate with business partners, clients, and colleagues across multiple jurisdictions to obtain required information and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with client, local, international, and industry-specific legal requirements.
- Share legal and regulatory updates with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain legal data and ensure accurate reporting.
