Meta Law Offices is hiring a General Corporate Commercial | Senior Associate.

Eligibility

Candidate to have at least 3 years of relevant PQE in GCC work with a reputed law firm and must have worked in at least 6 sectors out of their Role Description, aligned with the Role Description provided below. Notice Period: Not more than 2 months; they are looking for someone based out of Delhi/ready to relocate to Delhi. Candidates having sole litigation/dispute resolution and in-house experience are not eligible. They insist you apply ONLY if you meet the eligibility criteria above. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include managing client interactions, drafting, negotiating, and vetting commercial contracts, preparing legal opinions, researching legal issues, advising on business structuring, liaising with internal teams, and ensuring timely delivery.

At MetaLaw Offices, as part of our General Corporate Commercial Practice, we work across a wide spectrum of sectors, such as health tech, ed-tech, fin-tech, FMCG, logistics, e-commerce, media & entertainment, sports & gaming, electric vehicles, automotive & mobility, infrastructure, IT, food aggregation & cloud kitchen operations, pharma & healthcare & real estate and we are looking for someone with extensive experience and proficiency in the following areas:

Drafting memorandum and legal opinions representations, researching and analyzing complex legal issues pertaining to the legal & regulatory framework in our sectors of practice.

Drafting & vetting of JVAs (business transfer, revenue tie-in, partnership/collaboration agreements), tender documents, RFQs/RFPs, concession agreements, EPC contracts, O&M agreements, & other commercial contracts of infrastructure, projects, and the real estate sector.

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various complex, non-standard commercial contracts, including, inter alia, technology/IP licensing, agreements, manufacturing agreements, sales & distribution agreements, marketing & consulting agreements, franchise agreements, SAAS, hardware, SLA, & service contracts, vendor & supplier agreements, sponsorship agreements, master subscription/service agreements; data privacy agreements, sub-contracting/sub-licensing agreements, artist collaboration & production agreements, with minimal supervision, strong risk assessment skills and business & legal judgement.

Advising clients on an array of other matters that may include platform terms & conditions, NDAs, license agreements, leave & license/lease agreements, advertising & marketing adherence, e-commerce/online, software/IT licensing, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution among the aforesaid sectors.
