About the Job

This is a full-time on-site role for an INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY SENIOR ASSOCIATE at AK Mylsamy & Associates LLP.

Eligibility

• Legal professional with a law degree from a recognized institution
• Strong knowledge of IP filings, particularly in trademark, design, and copyright
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• 6 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) in IP matters
• Previous experience in a law firm is mandatory

Responsibilities

The Senior Associate will be responsible for Buisness development, providing legal advisory, conducting research, drafting documents, participating in negotiations, and representing clients in IP board & court proceedings. The role will also involve interacting with clients, managing portfolios, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.

• Conducting research, reading case files, and preparing notes
• Providing legal advice on the protection and enforcement of IP matters
• Drafting legal notices, replies, and submissions for filing at IP Boards & Courts
• Drafting, reviewing, and advising on IP agreements
• Representing clients in hearings before IP Boards & Courts
