About the Conference

This seminar aims to provide a comprehensive understanding multifaceted nature of war. Through exploring diverse perspectives and drawing valuable insight, participants will gain a deeper appreciation of the complexities that shape modern warfare.

Theme

Navigating the Complexities of WAR : Perspectives and Insights

The seminar will explore themes such as:

  • The evolution of warfare and international humanitarian law;
  • War crimes, justice, and accountability;
  • The role of international law in conflict prevention and resolution;
  • Arms control and international security;
  • The impact of war on human rights and refugees;

The themes are not exhaustive, relevant topics can also be discussed.

By the end of the seminar, participants will be able to:

  • Analyze war from various viewpoints, including those directly affected by it
  • Critically evaluate the factors that contribute to and sustain war:
  • Identify potential solutions and avenues for promoting peace:
  • Engage in informed discussions about the challenges and opportunities surrounding war and peace.

Guidelines for Paper Submission

  • All research papers must be exclusively submitted through the designated Google form, accessible link will be shared. Submissions made through alternative channels will not be considered.
  • The research paper should not include any personal details of the author.
  • Submissions should be in either .doc or .docx format.
  • Co-authorship is limited to a maximum of one person.
  • The author(s) bear sole responsibility for the accuracy of facts, opinions, or views expressed in the submissions.
  • Similarity is permitted up to 20% and free from AI-generated content. Submissions must strictly adhere to legal research on the suggested topics.
  • The body of the manuscript shall be in Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 line spacing.
  • Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, size 10 single line spacing.
  • A margin of 4 cm shall be left on all sides of the paper. Page borders shall not be used.

Prizes

  • A Best Paper Award will be given after peer- review based on the quality of the research work.
  • Selected papers will be published. Publishing guidelines will be shared at a further stage.

  • Last date of submission of the Abstract: 31st of March, 2024
  • Last date of submission of full manuscript: 31st of March, 2024

  • Co-Authored: INR 750/- (Up to 2 Authors)
  • Scholars/ Academicians: 1000/-
  • Scholars/ Academicians co-authors- 1500/-
