This Vidhi Mahavidyalaya was established in the year of 1988 in the district headquarters of Nawada to impart high-standard Law Education to uplift the academic standard of the entire Magadh Region. Nawada Vidhi Mahavidyalaya is well equipped for the teaching of law course of LL.B. standard of Magadh University, Bodh Gaya as per rules of the Bar Council of India New Delhi matter of pride that this college is permanently affiliated by Govt. of Bihar, to M.U.Bodhgaya, Bar Council of India, New Delhi has also given continued recognition.

  • Right to Adequate Livelihood: How DPSPs ensure the right to an adequate standard of living by promoting economic and social welfare policies.
  • Universal Education: The role of DPSPs in mandating free and compulsory education for children and its impact on socio-economic development.
  • Healthcare and Social Services: The principles guiding the state in providing access to healthcare and other essential social services to improve public health and well-being.
  • Economic Equality and Social Justice: How DPSPs aim to reduce economic disparities and promote social justice through policies and regulations.
  • Workers’ Rights and Employment: The influence of DPSPs on ensuring fair wages, safe working conditions, and employment opportunities.
  • Land Reforms and Rural Development: The directive principles related to land reforms and rural development, and their impact on agrarian society and rural livelihoods.
  • Housing and Urban Development: The role of DPSPs in promoting affordable housing and urban planning to address housing shortages and improve living conditions.
  • Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development: How DPSPs guide environmental protection efforts and sustainable development practices to ensure long-term socio-economic well-being.
  • Empowerment of Marginalized Groups: The principles aimed at empowering women, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, and other marginalized communities.
  • Social Security and Welfare Programs: The contribution of DPSPs to the development and implementation of social security schemes and welfare programs.
  • Making corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) mandatory in India but not DPSPs: CSP & DPSP both aim to promote societal welfare, but they operate at different levels. CSR refers to the responsibilities that businesses have towards society, including ethical practices and contributions to community development. DPSP, Part of the Indian Constitution, guides the state in making policies for the welfare of its citizens focusing on economics and Social Justice.

Above mentioned sub-themes are not exhaustive but only illustrative.- Authors are open to research on any topic related to the above-mentioned themes introspecting their scholarly interests in this igniting area.

Procedure for Submission of Abstracts

  • The abstract (of about 250 words) should be sent as an attachment in a Word file.
  • The following information, in the given format, should be sent along with the Abstract:
  • Name of the Participant, Official Designation/Institution Details, Contact Number Address and Email ID, Title of Abstract.
  • Submit your abstract to [email protected]

Guidelines for Paper Submission and Other Guidelines

  • The title of the paper should be followed by Name, Designation, Name of the Organization / University / Institution and Email address. It is mandatory to mention the Email address, as all future correspondence will be through it;
  • Name and details of Co-author, if any;
  • Chapter: The chapter should be in Times New Roman 12-point font and double-spaced. Main Title should be in full capitals, bold and centered 12-point font. Sub-titles should be in sentence case, bold and 12-point font. Author’s names should be in small capitals and centered 12-point font Footnotes should be in TimesNewRoman12-point font.
  • Citation Format: Please use footnotes rather than endnotes. Footnotes should conform to The Indian Law Institute, New Delhi Style;
  • Submission of the abstract: A cover letter with the name(s) of the author(s) and address, designation, institution/affiliation, the title of the manuscript and contact information (email, phone, etc.) is compulsory to submit. All submissions must contain an abstract of not more than 300 words with 5 Minimum Keywords;
  • Any plagiarized work will be more than 20% rightly rejected;
  • The title of the Chapter should be followed by Name, Designation, Name of the Organization / University / Institution and Email address. It is mandatory to mention the Email address, as all future correspondence will be through it;
  • Name and details of Co-author, if any;
  • The paper should be typed in MS WORD format (preferably 2007 or 2010);
  • The paper must be in single column layout with margins justified on both sides;
  • The length of the paper for short Papers below 4,000 words (including footnotes) and long papers not more than 7000 (Including Footnotes).

Rules for the Presentation

  • No abstract or full paper shall be accepted after the last date of submission respectively;
  • Participants/Paper Presenters have to register after the payment of required fees;
  • For participation, registration is mandatory upon confirmation of the participation. Only registered participants will be allowed to take part in the Conference;
  • All the registered participants will be provided a participation certificate;

  • For Faculty/Professional/Research Scholar/Other is Rs 500 (Per Individual).
