About the Competition

City College of Law (Lucknow) in collaboration with Dream Law is pleased to extend an invitation for participation in the Samar Kumar Basu National Moot Court Competition, 2023. The Moot Court Competition is scheduled to take place from 28^th July to 30^th July 2023 via Virtual Mode.

Eligibility

Students duly enrolled and pursuing full time 5 years or 3 years undergraduate law courses may apply to participate in the given competition. Students enrolled in post graduation diploma or short term certification courses are not eligible to apply.

The team composition of the given competition shall comprise of the following:

1. 2 speakers OR
2. 2 speakers and 1 Researcher

Important Dates

1. Last Date of Registration: 10th July, 2023

2. Last Date for Memorial Submission: 18th July, 2023

3. Clarification Session (Moot Problem and Rules): 15th To 16th July, 2023

4. Competition Dates: 28th to 30th July, 2023

Registration Details

1) The last date of registration is 10th July, 2023 by 11:59:59 PM. The teams must register online by 10th July.2023.

2) The Registration fees is ‘Rupees 1500/- Per Team’ only. The registration shall be done by filling up the registration form (Google Form) available at – https://forms.gle/mENBmkdj6fdsYT1UA

3) The registration shall be considered complete only when the Registration Fee has been paid successfully and the registration codes to each team through mail which shall be quoted by the teams for further communications with the organising committee.

4) The participants will receive an official approval mail from the organising committee within 48 hours of their registration.

5) The organising committee shall communicate the Team Leader for all the necessary communication.

 6) Registration fee once paid is non-refundable.

• 2nd Runner Up: Rs 9,000/- (Rupees Nine Thousand Only) + 50% Discount of DreamLaw Certificate Course on Drafting Pleading and Conveyancing.
• Best Speaker (Male): Rs 2,500/-(Rs Two Thousand Five Hundred Only) + Best Speaker Certificate
• Best Speaker (Female): Rs 2,500/- (Rs Two Thousand Five Hundred Only) + Best Speaker Certificate
• Best Memorial: Rs 3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only) + Best Memorial Certificate
