About the Job

Public Policy Research Centre (PPRC) is expanding its research team and is inviting applications for the position of Researcher.

The role is suited for individuals interested in public policy, governance, and politics who are willing to engage deeply with India’s evolving policy landscape through research, fieldwork, and stakeholder engagement.

Eligibility

• Graduates or postgraduates in Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, Public Policy, or allied disciplines.
• Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in Indian politics and governance.
• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Research orientation with the ability to analyse complex policy issues.
• Willingness to travel for fieldwork and engage with real-world policy environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on political developments, policy frameworks, and government initiatives.
• Undertake field visits across different regions to gather primary insights and understand on-ground realities.
• Engage with stakeholders including administrators, beneficiaries, and subject experts.
• Interpret qualitative and quantitative data to produce meaningful and actionable research outputs.
• Track national discourse on governance and contribute to research publications and knowledge outputs.
