About the Job
The position involves working on a time-bound research project requiring rigour, promptness, and genuine care for the subject. The position is paid and requires the selected candidate to commit to the research work as specified.
Eligibility
- Law students who have worked or conducted research in Islamic law and can provide samples of quality work.
- LL.M. students may also apply, provided they can genuinely commit to the project for at least one month.
- Knowledge and experience in reading and understanding Islamic law, Quranic principles, and Sunnah are mandatory.
- Candidates must meet all the stated requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research relating to Islamic law.
- Read and understand relevant Islamic legal materials, Quranic principles, and Sunnah.
- Contribute to the time-bound research project with rigour and promptness.
- Produce research work demonstrating quality and care for the subject.
Duration
At least one month for LL.M. students who apply for the position.
Compensation
The position is paid.
Additional Information
Based on the quality of research and writing during the project, co-authorship may be explored for future papers arising from the project. Co-authorship is neither guaranteed nor paid.
