Eligibility

Professor (Law)

• Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline
• Minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals
• Total research score of 120 (as per prescribed criteria)
• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience at university/national level institutions
• Evidence of successfully guiding doctoral candidates

OR

• An outstanding professional with a Ph.D. in relevant disciplines
• Significant contribution to the field supported by documentary evidence
• Minimum 10 years of experience

Associate Professor (Law)

• Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline
• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade)
• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience
• At least 7 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals
• Total research score of 75 (as per prescribed criteria)

Assistant Professor (Law)

• Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in a relevant discipline
• Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Differently Abled candidates as per rules
• Must have cleared NET/SET/SLET or possess a Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations (2009/2016)
• Exemption from NET/SET/SLET is applicable for candidates with Ph.D. subject to fulfillment of prescribed conditions, including:
• Ph.D. awarded in regular mode
• Evaluation by at least two external examiners
• Open viva voce conducted
• At least 2 research publications from Ph.D. work (with one in a refereed journal)
• Presentation of at least 2 papers in UGC/ICSSR/CSIR-sponsored conferences/seminars
