About Whistle for Public Interest [WHIP]

A group of law students viz. Paras Jain and Kumar Shanu created Whistle for Public Interest (WHIP) in the year 2015. Through this organization, they aim to involve law students in real PILs (Public interest Litigations) and to thereby benefit society.

They work towards various subjects like RTI, environmental protection, access to justice, consumer protection, and judicial reforms.

About Online Internship Opportunity at Whistle for Public Interest [WHIP]

“Intern from Home” Winter Program, 2021 is a challenging and real opportunity for law students. Law Students will get to work on issues of national importance by undertaking time bound tasks of legal research and drafting.  Law Students will also get chance to enter into discussion relating to leadership role of law students as law makers & change makers, to understand the practical & crucial aspects of public interest litigation, to interact with legal luminaries, to experiment with their specific area of interest and to know the skills required to face future challenges strongly.

Eligibility

Enrolled in either a 5-year or 3-year law course.

Duration of Online Internship Opportunity at Whistle for Public Interest [WHIP]

3 Weeks; Between January-February

They must also send their answers to the questionnaire in about 250 words.

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed through the WhatsApp Video Call facility and 15 candidates will be selected thereby.

Certificates

Certificates to those who submit their research reports on all issues given by WHIP.
