About SDM Law College, Mangalore
Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Law College, Mangalore, established in 1974 under the aegis of the SDM Educational Society®, Ujire, is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi, and recognized by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi. The college is committed to providing holistic legal education, nurturing competent professionals, and promoting empowerment through law for building an ethical society.
It offers a wide range of programs, including Five-Year Integrated B.A. LL.B. and B.B.A. LL.B., Three-Year LL.B., Two-Year LL.M., and is the only Research Centre recognized by KSLU. Reaccredited with a B++ grade (CGPA 2.94) in the fourth NAAC cycle, the institution has secured 1st Rank in India in the CSR Eminent Law Schools Survey 2025 and ranked 1st in the Eminent category, 5th in Karnataka, and 6th in the Southern Region in the GHRDC Law Schools Survey 2025.

About FDP
This 7-day online FDP is designed to help educators stay updated with the fast-changing world of research and classroom teaching. Throughout the programme, participants will explore new and practical approaches to research methods, learn how digital tools can make academic work more efficient, and understand the latest strategies for creating engaging and learner-centred classrooms. The sessions are interactive and experience-based, allowing faculty members to learn directly from experts, discuss real challenges, and share best practices with colleagues from different institutions. By the end of the programme, participants will gain fresh perspectives on how to conduct meaningful research, use data more effectively, and adopt teaching methods that truly connect with today’s learners.

Attendance Requirement
Attendance is mandatory. Participants must maintain at least 95% attendance throughout the programme to be eligible for certification.
Assessment & Certification
An online examination will be conducted on the last day of the FDP. Certificates will be issued only to participants who secure 50% or above in the exam and meet the attendance criteria.
FDP fees
The registration fee for the programme is ₹500 per participant. Please note that the fee is non-refundable.
