About the Programme
The National Forensic Sciences University is organising a Capacity Building Programme on Forensic Justice from July 26 to 30, 2022.
The understanding of forensic science and its application is significant for strengthening the criminal justice system. The use of forensic science in the law school curriculum is not only needed but is imperative concerning the nuances that are reaching us day in and day out.
The use and application of forensic science facilitates and unwraps the application of legal rules and regulations. The analysis of forensics helps in the investigation and prosecution of civil and criminal proceedings.
Without the just application of forensic science, the puzzle of an undergoing investigation remains incomplete.
While the law enforcement agencies through investigators work on coming to a chain of sequence of events, with both physical and electronic evidences on record, it is actually the application of scientific rules that oversees the investigation of these evidences to construct realities which are eventually presented before the courtroom.
Forensic scientists are important stakeholders in our criminal justice administration which not only collect the evidences from the crime scene but also analyze them in order to assist the court in the justice delivery system.
