About the Fellowship

The NLUD Justice for Children Litigation Fellowship, is a flagship program for young graduates committed to litigation practice on issues pertaining to POCSO and the JJ Act.

Supported by UNICEF, the Fellowship aims at improving access to justice for children in need of care and protection, and children in conflict with the law through the provision of quality legal aid support to children, and the creation of a cadre of well-trained and dedicated child-sensitive lawyers. The 2025-26 cycle of the Fellowship will be based in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.

About the Job

National Law University, Delhi invites online application for the post of Call for Application – NLUD Justice for Children Litigation Fellowship.

Eligibility

  • Law Graduate (LL.B. or B.A.LL.B.)
  • Updated knowledge of substantive and procedural child rights law, including POCSO and JJ Act;
  • Experience of 3+ years in child rights litigation;
  • Proficiency in drafting and pleading;
  • Proficiency in arguing cases before the child oriented forums in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
  • Desirable: An LLM or an equivalent Master’s degree in Law;
  • Research experience and proficiency in legal writing;
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Word and PowerPoint.

Time period

Nine months, starting Dec 15, 2025

Stipend

INR 30,000/- monthly
