About Negotiation And Mediation Competition

The Negotiation and Mediation Competition, organized under the aegis of the FRIEDEN ADR Club at ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad, is designed to provide students with a practical platform to experience the essence of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

This competition simulates real-world negotiation and mediation settings, allowing participants to assume the roles of clients, counsels, and mediators as they work toward resolving complex disputes collaboratively.
The event emphasizes teamwork, communication, strategy, and empathy, skills that are critical for future legal professionals.

By engaging in this competition, students gain invaluable exposure to the dynamics of dispute settlement outside the courtroom, strengthening their ability to analyze issues, develop creative solutions, and advocate effectively in a non-adversarial environment. Through expert guidance, structured problem scenarios, and interactive sessions, the competition fosters experiential learning, ensuring that participants not only refine their advocacy but also embrace the spirit of dialogue and cooperation that lies at the heart of dispute resolution.
