About Gujarat National Law University, Silvassa Campus (GNLU-S)

Gujarat National Law University – Silvassa Campus (GNLU-S) was established pursuant to a  resolution of the Governing Bodies of Gujarat National Law University under the Gujarat National  Law University Act, 2003, as amended by the Gujarat National Law University (Amendment) Act,  2022.

Envisioned as a premier research-oriented institution of legal education, the campus seeks to  empower students and scholars through dynamic academic programmes, research initiatives, and  collaborative engagement. Situated in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman  and Diu, a tribal-dominated region, GNLU-S aims to contribute to holistic regional development by  promoting quality legal education, skill enhancement, and professional opportunities. 

About the Competition

The Quiz Club, GNLU Silvassa, is organising a National Level Online Quiz Competition on  “Women in Sports.” The quiz goes beyond medals and statistics to examine milestones, rights,  reforms, representation, and the ongoing struggle for equality in sports. It seeks to highlight sport as  a site of power, policy, and progress. 

Eligibility

Open only to undergraduate students currently enrolled in a recognised university/college in  India. 

Students of GNLU Silvassa are not eligible to participate. 

Team Composition

Participation strictly in teams of two (02). 

Cross-institutional teams are not permitted. 

No change in team composition shall be allowed after registration. 

Event Overview

Round 1 – Preliminary Round: 

• Mode: Online 
• Format: Objective Type (MCQs) 
• Evaluation Criteria: Accuracy and Time 
• Top 15 teams will qualify for the Final Round. 

Round 2 – Final Round: 

• Mode: Online (Live) 
• Format: MCQs, Audio-Visual Questions, Rapid Fire, and other interactive formats. The decision of the Quiz Master shall be final and binding. 

Prizes

• Total Prize Pool: Rs. 10,000/- 
• Distribution details will be announced prior to the Final Round. 
• Prize money will be transferred digitally after due verification. 

General Rules

• Strict adherence to scheduled timings is mandatory. 
• A stable internet connection is required. 
• No external assistance or unfair means are permitted. 
• Participants must log in using their registered email ID only. 
• Any misconduct or misrepresentation will result in immediate disqualification. The organisers reserve the right to modify rules if necessary. 
• In case of any dispute, the decision of the organisers shall be final. 

Important Communication

All official communication will be made via email only. Registered teams will receive the quiz link,  timings, detailed instructions, and results through their registered email ID.
