About the Opportunity

Greetings from the Moot Court Society, School of Law, IMS Unison University, Dehradun. It gives us immense pleasure to announce the 10th Edition of the National Moot Court Competition from 09th-11th October 2023 organized by the Moot Court Society, School of Law, IMS Unison University, Dehradun. The competition strives to recognize and appreciate lawyering skills among budding talents and provide them with a platform to develop their professional skills.

Offline: Therefore at the University Premises

Eligibility

The Competition is open for students pursuing three/to five-year L.L.B. Degree Courses from a recognized Law College/University in India, subject to fulfillment of the registration formalities. The participants are inclusive of L.L.M. students as well.

Team Composition

Each team shall consist of a maximum of three members (Two Mooters and One Researcher). All participants are mandatorily required to carry their University/College ID Cards during the competition.

Registration fees for the participants are as under (including GST): 6000

Prizes

• Winners: Rs. 21,000- Cash Prize with certificate. Along with a certified online course by LawyersClubIndia
• Runner-up: Rs. 11,000/- Cash Prize with certificate. Along with a certified online course by LawyersClubIndia
• Best Mooter Male: Rs. 4000/- Cash Prize with certificate. Along with a certified online course by LawyersClubIndia
• Best Mooter Female: Rs. 4000/- Cash Prize with certificate. Along with a certified online course by LawyersClubIndia
• Best Researcher: Rs. 4000/- Cash Prize with certificate. Along with a certified online course by LawyersClubIndia
• Best Memorial Respondent: Rs. 3500/ – Cash Prize with certificate.
• Best Memorial Petitioner: Rs. 3500/- Cash Prize with certificate.

Note

• The Awardees shall be given a Certificate of Excellence.
• The Semi-Finalists shall be given a Certificate of Merit.
• A Certificate of Participation will be given to each participant.

• 30th August 2023: Release of Moot Proposition, Rules, and Regulations of the Moot Court Competition
• 26 September, 2023: Last Date of Registration
• 2nd October 2023: Last Date for Submission of Memorials (Soft Copy)
• 09th October 2023: Last date of Submission of Memorials (Hard Copy)
