Kristu Jayanti College of Law (KJCL) had a humble beginning in the year 2017 with 3 courses B.A., LL.B., B.B.A., LL.B., and B.Com., LL.B. At KJCL, we understand the critical need to produce principled, qualified, knowledgeable, and internationally competitive lawyers. About the Opportunity

Kristu Jayanti College of Law (KJCL), located in Bengaluru, is preparing to host its prestigious Kristu Jayanti National Moot Court Competition 2024 (KJNMCC2024) from 25th to 27th July, 2024. The college is dedicated to developing and refining the abilities of young individuals in legal research and the art of making compelling arguments within the context of a courtroom setting and experience.

This competition will serve as an excellent platform to gather some of the most innovative and scholarly young individuals from various law schools across the nation to compete and showcase their skills in advocacy and research, which will be evaluated by a panel of distinguished judges, lawyers, and legal experts.

The proposition of the moot court competition has been designed to assess the students’ analytical skills in the emerging field of Environmental Law. On behalf of the whole KJCL community, we warmly extend an invitation to participants from distinguished educational institutions across the country to join us in this competition and create lasting memories and experiences in their journey. We look forward to your presence and participation in the Garden City of India and the Green and Smart Campus – Kristu Jayanti College of Law, Bengaluru.

Eligibility

Students, enrolled in a full-time 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB programs at any university, college or institutions that have been approved by the Bar Council of India are eligible to register for this competition.

• Winning Team – ₹ 30,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
• Runners-Up – ₹ 20,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
• Best Speaker – ₹ 10,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
• Best Researcher – ₹ 5,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
• Best Memorial – ₹ 5,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
