National Level Reel Making Competition by NLU Tripura: Register by May 15

About the Competition

The Legal Aid Society of National Law University Tripura proudly announces a National Level Reel Making Competition to celebrate the completion of 75 years of the Constitution of India under the theme “Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Swabhiman“. This creative initiative invites participants from across the country to showcase their artistic expression and constitutional awareness through short, impactful reels. The competition aims to promote civic pride, legal literacy, and a deeper understanding of the Constitution’s enduring legacy.

Open to students nationwide, this event provides a unique platform to combine creativity with advocacy, fostering a sense of constitutional commitment and social responsibility among the youth. Participants are invited to create short reels (videos) on any legal issue or topic related to law and justice. The competition is open to students and professionals interested in law, including societies and centers of colleges.

• Registration Fee:
  • Individual: ₹300
  • Group (2-3 members): ₹500
  • Societies/Centres: ₹1000
• Important Dates:
  • Last Date for Registration: May 15, 2025
  • Last Date for Reel Submission: May 20, 2025
• Themes: A wide range of themes is provided, such as Access to Justice, Legal Rights of Marginalized Communities, LGBTQ+ Rights, Environmental Justice, and more. Participants may also choose sub-themes related to these topics.

Prizes and Recognition

• Top 3 Winners: Cash prizes of ₹5,000 (1st), ₹3,000 (2nd), and ₹2,000 (3rd).
• Top 10 Winners: Certificates of Recognition.
• All Participants: Certificates of Participation.
