The Canon Sphere strives to render comprehensive information on numerous matters, covering those aspects of the socio- legal world that we believe people and society at large should interact with more.

About the competition

Canonsphere is going to organize this online competition for budding laywers, law students and other legal professionals. Drafting is the essential tool in skillset of any lawyer or law student so participate to have an exposure and get a chance to sharpen your skills.

Eligibility

The Competition is open to all students, enrolled bonafide on a regular basis in an undergraduate law course or its equivalent conducted by any recognized College/ Institution/ University.

Law Graduates can also apply for the competition.

Legal Notice on Cheque Bounce Cases (Section 138 NI Act)

Rules

The participant can access the rule book and brochure of the competition here.

Basic rules

• Each Participant must submit ONLY ONE Legal Notice Draft.
• The Legal Notice Application shall be drafted on the basis of the Problem.
• The Draft shall be drafted in English language only.
• Any Draft of submission with any name reference or disclosing the details of the Participants in any manner will be disqualified.
• The Legal Notice draft should not exceed the plagiarism limit of 20%.

Important dates

• Last Date Of Registration: 30.01.2023
• Clarification Day: 31.01.2023
• Date Of Submission: 01.02.2023 & 02.02.2023
• Result Declaration/Valedictory Ceremony : 04.02.2023

A free training session will be organised for all the participants and the date of that will be provided after registration.

Rewards

Following rewards will be provided to participants:

• Winner : Rs. 3000 along with certificate of winning and a trophy.
• 1st Runner up: Rs. 1000 along with certificate of position and a trophy.
• 2nd Runner up : Certificate of position and a trophy.

Besides that Certificate of participation will be given to all.

The submissions must be made at- [email protected] and the subject of mail should be “Submission of Legal Notice Draft , CODE” along with cover letter as explained below.

The ‘Code’ here denotes the Participant(s) Code which shall be assigned after the registration.

The submission shall also contain a separate cover letter in the body of the email enumerating the following details-
