The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly influenced various sectors, including the legal domain. As AI continues transforming the delivery of justice, legal services, and access to rights, it also presents unique challenges concerning data privacy, algorithmic bias, ethics, and accountability.
The School of Law and Justice, Adamas University, is pleased to announce a National Conference on “Access to Justice and Legal Rights in the Age of AI” on April 5, 2025. This conference aims to bring together academicians, researchers, legal practitioners, policymakers, industry experts, and students to discuss the challenges, opportunities, and legal implications posed by the emergence of AI in the legal landscape. The event explores how AI can facilitate or hinder access to justice and the protection of legal rights in modern societies.

Eligibility
Students, Researchers, Faculty members, lawyers, and academicians are welcome to participate in the conference. Paper presenters will be allowed to discuss working papers too.

Prizes
Conference certificates will be awarded to all paper presenters and conference participants.
Publication Opportunity
Selected papers will be published in an ISBN-edited book/journal or a peer-reviewed law journal associated with the School of Law and Justice, Adamas University.

Submission Guidelines
1. Abstract Submission:
- Authors must submit an abstract of their paper, not exceeding 300 words.
- The abstract must clearly outline:
- Research Problem: A brief statement on the issue being addressed.
- Objectives: The goals and purpose of the research.
- Methodology: The approach and techniques used in the study.
- Key Findings: A summary of the main results or conclusions.
- The abstract must be concise and informative, providing an overview of the paper’s content.
- Abstracts should be submitted in Microsoft Word or PDF format via the designated submission platform.
2. Full Paper Submission:
- The full paper must be between 4,000 and 6,000 words (including references and footnotes).
- Formatting Requirements:
- Font: Times New Roman, 12-point font size.
- Line Spacing: 1.5 line spacing.
- Margins: 1-inch margins on all sides (top, bottom, left, and right).
- Paragraph Alignment: Left-aligned (not justified).
- Title and Headings: The paper’s title should be centered and in bold. Subheadings should also be in bold and properly formatted.
- Page Numbers: Include page numbers at the bottom center of each page.
- Citation Style: The paper must follow the Bluebook 21st Edition citation style. Ensure all references, footnotes, and bibliography are formatted accordingly.
- The full paper must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format for compatibility and ease of review.
3. Co-authorship:
- A maximum of two authors per paper is allowed.
- Both authors must have contributed significantly to the paper, and their names should be listed in the order of their contribution.
- Co-authors must ensure proper writing, research, and paper formatting collaboration.
4. Plagiarism Policy:
- All submitted papers must be original and unpublished.
- Each submission will be checked using reliable plagiarism detection tools (such as Turnitin).
- Any submission found with plagiarism exceeding 10% will be automatically rejected.
- Authors must ensure proper citation of all sources to avoid plagiarism. All external references, ideas, and direct quotations must be cited in compliance with the Bluebook 21st Edition citation style.
- Submissions must not contain self-plagiarism (reusing significant portions of previously published work without appropriate citation).
