About the Conference

This conference explores the critical role of Intellectual Property (IP) in promoting inclusive innovation and global justice, recognizing that IP has emerged as a central factor in solving complex, interconnected world problems beyond its conventional function of safeguarding creativity. Despite global attention on sustainability, numerous countries face gaps between effective sustainable practices and equitable access to innovation’s benefits, a challenge the conference directly addresses.

The core themes include examining the interplay of IP and public health, the impact of new technologies like artificial intelligence and green innovation, and IP’s role in protecting traditional knowledge and cultural heritage. Furthermore, talks will cover the future of IP governance, its sociological aspects, and its importance across business, management and international trade.

By discussing issues from agri-biodiversity to corporate IP policy and cross-border harmonization, the conference ultimately aims to forge a comprehensive view of how intellectual property can actively facilitate sustainable development and foster social justice globally.
