A team from Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Mumbai has secured the Runners-Up position at the 2nd Vidhi Pragati National IP Moot Court Competition organised by National Law University Delhi.
The MNLU Mumbai team comprised Shagun, Varuni S and Sanskar Chandak. The students represented the university through the different stages of the national-level competition and advanced to the final round.

Apart from the team achievement, two members also received recognition for their individual performances during the semi-finals of the competition.
Shagun was adjudged the Best Speaker in the Semi-Finals. Sanskar Chandak secured the Second Best Speaker position in the Semi-Finals, adding two individual speaking honours to the team’s overall achievement.
The competition focused on intellectual property law and required participating teams to demonstrate their understanding of legal issues through research, written preparation and oral advocacy.

The achievement also reflects the students’ performance in both team advocacy and individual oral rounds. While the team secured the Runners-Up position overall, the recognition received by Shagun and Sanskar Chandak in the semi-finals further strengthened MNLU Mumbai’s performance at the competition.
