About the Centre for Training and Research in Commercial Regulations, MNLU Mumbai

The Centre for Training and Research in Commercial Regulations (CTRCR) was established at MNLU Mumbai with the vision to encourage and promote discussion, training, and research in the fields of commercial and economic law. The Centre brings together academicians, professionals, industry experts, regulators, judges, and students to deliberate on contemporary challenges and changes in the business environment – both domestic and global. Through scholarly engagement and collaborative learning, CTRCR aims to contribute significantly to commercial law and regulatory policy discourse.

About the Competition

The National Corporate Due Diligence Competition is a premier event that places participants in the role of corporate transactional lawyers. Designed to simulate the high-stakes world of corporate advisory practice, the competition challenges students to:

  • Identify red flags in corporate transactions

  • Draft detailed risk reports
  • Negotiate contractual clauses

This unique format enables law students to develop practical skills in corporate advisory work, bridging the gap between theory and practice.

The collaborators will be extending internship opportunities to the meritorious students, providing them with first-hand exposure to corporate legal practice. It is delighted to announce the collaborators who have generously agreed to support this flagship event.
