About the Job

As a “Senior Associate” at their esteemed law firm in Mumbai, you will play a pivotal role in handling high-profile corporate M&A, PE, and VC transactions. You will manage deal processes, conduct legal due diligence, draft and review commercial contracts, and support deal completion and closings.

Eligibility

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in corporate transactional law, focusing on M&A and PE/VC matters.
• Strong legal acumen with excellent research, analytical, and drafting skills.
• Ability to take ownership of work and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate legal concepts.
• Knowledge of recent developments in corporate and securities law.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of transactional work, ensuring accuracy, thoroughness, and adherence to deadlines.
• Draft, review, and negotiate M&A agreements, share purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and commercial contracts.
• Lead legal due diligence processes, identify key issues, and provide strategic advice.
• Coordinate with clients and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth deal closures.
• Stay updated on recent developments in corporate law and incorporate best practices into work.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support transaction strategies.
