About the Event

The Master Dayanand 1st National Moot Court Competition, 2026 is the inaugural national-level moot court competition hosted by the School of Law & Legal Studies, Sanskaram University.

The competition will be conducted in Hybrid Mode:

• Preliminary & Quarter-Final Rounds: Online
• Semi-Final & Final Rounds: Offline at Sanskaram University Campus

The competition aims to promote research aptitude, drafting excellence, advocacy skills, and professional confidence among law students across the country.

Theme: Right to Privacy and Dignity in the Digital Age

Eligibility

• Students enrolled in:
  • 3-Year LL.B. Programme
  • 5-Year Integrated LL.B. Programme
• Institution must be recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI)
• Maximum two teams per institution
• Team Composition: 2 Speakers + 1 Researcher (Maximum 3 members per team)

Registration Fee

• ₹2,100 per team

• Winner Team: ₹31,000 + Trophy + Certificates
• Runner-Up Team: ₹21,000 + Trophy + Certificates
• Best Memorial: ₹6,000 + Trophy + Certificate
• Best Speaker: ₹6,000 + Trophy + Certificate
• Certificates of Participation for all participating teams

• 25 March 2026: Last Date for Submission of Soft Copy of Memorial

• 28 March 2026: Preliminary Rounds (Online)
• 29 March 2026: Quarter-Final Rounds (Online)
• 03 April 2026: Semi-Final Rounds (Offline)
• 04 April 2026: Final Rounds & Valedictory Ceremony (Offline)

Registration Procedure

• Teams must register via the official Google Form: Registration Link
• Registration confirmed upon submission of the form and payment of the prescribed fee
• Teams will be allotted a Team Code, to be used in all correspondence and submissions
• Memorials must be submitted in both soft and hard copies as per schedule in the brochure
