The club is primarily dedicated to nurturing young leaders, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary for fostering peaceful resolutions, promoting positive interactions, and engaging in equitable dialogue for efficient negotiations.

About LexKnot-2024

LexKnot is the annual legal-cultural fest of ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad with students participating across the nation from various law colleges and universities. LexKnot promises to be the highlight event of the year, showcasing a blend of legal, cultural, and literary competitions.

Spearheaded by the FRIEDEN, our flagship events for LexKnot 2024 include a National Mediation Competition and a National Client Counselling Competition. With immense pleasure, the FRIEDEN ADR Club is actively organizing these prestigious competitions, aiming to foster a spirit of excellence and collaboration among participants. Eligibility

Only bonafide students pursuing their 3 (Three) Year/ 5 (Five) Year Degree programs in Law at any Colleges/Universities recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate in the competition.

TEAM COMPOSITION FOR MEDIATION:

Each team shall comprise of 3 (Three) Participants: 1 (One) Mediator, 1 (One) Mediating Pair (Client+Counsel).
The Member of the Team designated as a Mediator shall remain unchanged throughout the Competition.
Whereas, each Mediating Pair shall play the role of both the Client and the Counsel interchangeably i.e. each member of the mediating pair shall act as client and counsel both in at least one round.

TEAM COMPOSITION
Each Team shall consist of 2 (Two) participants as Counsels. It is informed that the clients for the competition shall be provided by the organizers themselves.

Awards for Mediation

In addition to appreciation certificates, the following designations along with the Cash Prize will be awarded to

• Best Mediator- Rs.15,000/- (Indian Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only)
• Runner-Up Mediator- Rs.7,000/- (Indian Rupees Seven Thousand Only)
• Best Mediating Pair (Client & Counsel)- Rs.15,000/- (Indian Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only)
• Runner-Up Mediating Pair (Client & Counsel)- Rs.7,000/- (Indian Rupees Seven Thousand Only)
  Participation certificates shall be granted to all participants irrespective of their success in rounds.

Awards for Client Counseling

In addition to appreciation certificates, the following designations along with the Cash Prize will be awarded:

• Best Counsel- Rs.15,000/- (Indian Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only)
• Runner-Up Counsel- Rs.7,000/- (Indian Rupees Seven Thousand Only)

Participation certificates shall be granted to all participants irrespective of their success in rounds

Registration Process

No Registration fees is charged for the competition and Each college may register up to one team for each competition. Please note that the competition is being hosted in offline mode only.
