About the University

About the Event

Lexcelerate’25 is a pioneering national legal tech business plan competition spearheaded by HPNLU. Designed to propel entrepreneurial thinking among students, this event provides a distinguished platform to showcase innovative business concepts within the burgeoning legal technology sector.

Aligned with the goals of the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect program, the competition aims to:

• Awaken students to entrepreneurship as a viable career path.
• Bridge the gap between academia and industry.
• Equip students with skills demanded by modern markets.

This is a one-day, hybrid competition inviting students to present legal startup ideas via a pitch deck to a panel of experienced judges.

Who is it for/Eligibility

The competition is open to anyone with an interest in pitching legal startup ideas. Teams can consist of up to three co-founders.

Location

Hybrid Mode: The event will be conducted through a blend of online and offline participation.

• City: Shimla, Himachal Pradesh (for offline participants)

Registration and Fee Details

Registration is a two-step process and is only accepted via the official link.

• Registration Fee for Other Institutions: ₹500/- per head
• Registration Fee for HPNLU Students: ₹350/- per head

Successful registration will be confirmed via email to the team leader. All further communication will be directed to the registered email ID and the designated WhatsApp group.

The competition offers exciting awards and certificates to the winning teams. The prize money is subject to change as directed by the organising committee.

• First Prize: ₹10,000/- + Certificate of Merit + internship opportunity at abyd.in
• Second Prize: ₹7,500/- + Certificate of Merit
• Third Prize: Certificate of Merit
• All Participants: Receive a Participation Certificate
