About LEGISTHONS 2026

LEGISTHONS 2026, the national law fest of Geeta Institute of Law, is a premier academic platform aimed at integrating legal theory with practical professional training. It brings together law students, academicians, advocates, judges, and institutions from across the country to encourage learning, collaboration, and excellence in legal education. The fest offers students national exposure, promotes critical and analytical thinking, and helps in developing professionalism, ethical awareness, and leadership skills essential for the legal profession.

The core of LEGISTHONS 2026 lies in its three flagship competitions. The 16th GIL National Moot Court Competition provides participants with an opportunity to experience real courtroom advocacy through intensive legal research, memorial drafting, and oral arguments before experienced judges and legal professionals. The Judgment Writing Competition focuses on developing judicial reasoning by training students to analyse facts, apply laws, interpret precedents, and write structured, well-reasoned judgments. The Client Counselling Competition simulates real advocate–client interactions, enabling students to develop communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and ethical decision-making skills. Together, these competitions offer comprehensive practical training covering advocacy, adjudication, and client handling.

In addition to student learning, LEGISTHONS 2026 creates valuable opportunities for institutions, legal professionals, and sponsors by serving as a national platform for academic recognition and professional engagement. The Competition is open for Bonafide students pursuing law undergraduate program

PROCESS

  1. 16th GIL National Moot Court Competition
    Interested teams must register through the official Google Form released by the Organising Committee of LEGISTHONS 2026. After filling in team and institutional details, teams are required to complete the registration by paying the prescribed fee and submitting the required documents within the stipulated deadline. Confirmation of registration will be communicated through official

  2. Judgment Writing Competition:
    Participants are required to register individually by filling out the online registration form provided by the Organising Committee. After successful registration and fee submission, the competition problem and detailed guidelines will be shared with registered participants via Email – [email protected]
  3. Client Counselling Competition:
    Teams must register online through the official registration form released for the competition. Upon submission of participant details and completion of the registration formalities, registered teams will receive confirmation along with the competition rules, schedule, and further instructions through official communication.
