Vidhi Tamil Nadu works on law and policy issues impacting the state of Tamil Nadu. The team engages in research and policy work aimed at improving governance and strengthening legal and institutional frameworks in the state.

Unlike traditional organisational structures, Vidhi Tamil Nadu does not operate through verticals or teams, allowing interns and researchers to work across a wide range of law and policy issues.

About the Job

Vidhi Tamil Nadu offers internship opportunities to students pursuing graduate and post-graduate courses in recognised law programmes or allied courses in humanities and public policy. The internship is offered on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Interns will gain exposure to policy research and legal analysis while contributing to projects addressing important law and policy issues impacting Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility

Students pursuing graduate or postgraduate courses in recognised law programmes or allied courses in humanities and public policy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on contemporary issues of law and public policy affecting Tamil Nadu.
  • Assist with drafting reports and research outputs.
  • Interact with academics and practising lawyers as part of the research process.

Important Note

Applications submitted less than two months prior to the intended start date of the internship will not be considered. For example, if the internship is planned to begin on 1 May, the application must be submitted by 1 March.

Successful applicants will be notified 45 days prior to the start date of the internship.

Due to the large number of applications received, applicants are requested not to follow up regarding the status of their application via email.
