About the Job

M-A-Y-Lawyers LLP, a boutique law firm based in Kanpur, is inviting law students and recent graduates for internship & assessment opportunities in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Corporate Law.

It is a team of Advocates, Trademark Attorneys, Chartered Accountants, Arbitrators & Company Secretaries offering end-to-end legal and business solutions to startups, R&D organizations, and global clients.

Eligibility

• LL.B. Students → Internship only.
• Final-Year LL.B. Students → Assessment Period leading to a potential job offer.
• Freshers with strong drafting & communication skills are encouraged to apply.
• Female candidates preferred.
• Must be ready to relocate to Kanpur & join immediately.

Responsibilities

• Handle trademark filings, oppositions, renewals & IP proceedings.
• Conduct IP due diligence & assist in portfolio management.
• Draft, review & negotiate Technology Transfer, NDA, JV, Licensing & IP Assignment Agreements.
• Coordinate with clients, associates & authorities.
