NLIU Bhopal is inviting applications for the position of Legal Fellow under the Project Nyaya Sewa Fellowship Programme, aimed at strengthening access to justice for undertrial prisoners and marginalised communities.

Name of the Post: Legal Fellow

Eligibility

  • Graduate with an LL.B. degree or a 5-year integrated LL.B. degree
  • Sanad (License to Practice) for practising in Madhya Pradesh
  • Experience in drafting bail applications
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Hindi and English (preferred)
  • Familiarity with MS Office, email, and internet usage
  • Prior experience in a similar field or with District Legal Services Authority or an NGO is desirable
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
  • Preference may be given to candidates with 2 years of legal practice

During the contract period, the selected Fellow shall not take up any other employment without prior permission of the employer.
