About the Job

They are looking for a Executive-Legal for the company. The incumbent should have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in the Media & Entertainment sector and have a strong background in Intellectual Property Rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end legal support across film and television development and production. This includes negotiating and drafting all major agreements talent and above-the-line contracts, co-production deals, rights acquisition, licensing, literary option/purchase agreements, and content exploitation deals across platforms.
• Review and perfect chain of title, assess third-party rights and obligations, and conduct IP and content clearances during pre-development.
• Handle marketing and promotional contracts, including product placements and co-branding.
• Oversee contract execution and administration, maintain detailed project status reports, support litigation through research and briefing materials, and work closely with the head of legal on all key matters.
