About the Job
BeastLife is hiring a Legal Executive for its Gurugram office. The role offers exposure to corporate legal affairs, consumer litigation, contract management, intellectual property protection, and regulatory compliance within a fast-growing consumer brand.
Eligibility
Candidates must:
- Hold an LL.B. degree. An LL.M. will be an added advantage.
- Have 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Possess strong knowledge of legal drafting, contract management, consumer litigation, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property matters.
- Prior experience in the Food, Nutraceutical, FMCG, Healthcare, Consumer Goods, or E-commerce sectors will be preferred.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Handle consumer complaints, legal notices, and litigation relating to the company’s products and services.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), service agreements, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate with external counsel and attend hearings before Consumer Commissions and other authorities, where required.
- Handle trademark documentation and matters relating to counterfeit products, brand infringement, and look-alike brands.
- Review product labels, marketing campaigns, advertisements, and website content to ensure legal compliance.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, Consumer Protection, Legal Metrology, advertising, e-commerce, and other applicable laws.
- Maintain legal documentation, contract repositories, and case records while providing legal support to cross-functional teams.
