About the Job

AGCO is hiring for the position of Legal Counsel based in Bengaluru, Karnataka (Hybrid/Remote).

This role reports to the APA General Counsel and is responsible for providing legal and compliance-related services to all aspects of business operations in India. The selected candidate will be a member of the Indian management team based in Bangalore.

Responsibilities

• Corporate governance of legal entities in India, including board meeting minutes, resolutions, and AOA amendments
• Working as a key team member in setting up AGCO India
• Drafting and revising contract templates and setting up/updating contract approval processes
• Reviewing key day-to-day business contracts with focus on key terms and legal risks
• Providing legal advice to various business functions
• Conducting compliance trainings and updating policies (Anti-Bribery, Code of Conduct, etc.)
• Managing external counsel in relation to litigation or advisory matters and overseeing the legal budget in India
