About the Job

L.P. Manot & Co. Advocates is seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal associate specializing in Litigation/ Commercial Law to join our esteemed team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in drafting various legal documents, including but not limited to writ petitions, civil suits, affidavits, rejoinders, replies, legal notices, and written submissions. The candidate should be well-versed in procedural matters and drafting for original side cases, demonstrating a profound understanding of litigation procedures.

Practice Areas: Litigation, Commercial Law, Company Law, Family Law

Eligibility

• LL.B degree from a recognized institution.
• Must be enrolled with the Bar.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in litigation.
• Proficient in online legal research tools.
• Strong knowledge of Litigation, Commercial Law, Company Law, and Family Law.
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of legal procedures and courtroom etiquette.
• Exceptional research abilities using online legal databases.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Punctual, detail-oriented, and efficient in managing workloads.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review legal documents such as writ petitions, civil suits, affidavits, rejoinders, replies, legal notices, and written submissions etc.
• Conduct legal research, ensuring thorough analysis and understanding of case law and precedents.
• Handle original side matters and demonstrate proficiency in procedural aspects related to litigation.
• Work efficiently and meet self-imposed deadlines for assigned tasks.
• Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
• Collaborate with legal teams to ensure comprehensive client representation.
• Maintain punctuality and efficiency in all aspects of work.
