About the Job
JSA is inviting applications for the position of Senior Associate in its Real Estate practice.
Eligibility
- 5–7 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong understanding and practical knowledge of land laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of stamping and registration processes.
- Familiarity with MHADA, MIDC, CIDCO, SRA, DCPR and MCGM regulations.
- Familiarity with state-specific property laws and revenue records.
- Hands-on experience in title due diligence.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing title reports across multiple property types.
- Ability to work closely with teams and manage end-to-end documentation for transactions.
Responsibilities
- Examine revenue records, encumbrance certificates, mutation entries and chain of title documents.
- Scrutinise sanction plans, approved layouts and construction permissions.
- Identify title defects, title-related risks, encumbrances and litigation risks.
- Prepare detailed title reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable state laws, registration requirements and RERA regulations.
- Coordinate with external consultants, agents, local lawyers and others.
