Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of proven experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is an advantage.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information using Westlaw and Lexis.
- Draft legal documents, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and access agreement templates.
- File, redact, and extract documents to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
- Generate and maintain legal templates for various purposes.
- Provide first-level operational support to the legal team.
- Participate in educational opportunities and review professional publications to stay updated with legal developments.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Support organisational objectives by taking responsibility for new assignments and identifying opportunities to add value.
- Proficiency in AI and automation tools will be an added advantage.
Mode
In-office for a minimum of three days per week, with the remaining days as Work from Home.
