About the Late Shri S. Narasarajugaru Memorial 2nd National Moot Court Competition 2023

The Oxford College of Law is organizing its 2nd National Moot Court Competition from 24th November 2023 to 26th November 2023. The competition is being conducted to provide mooting experience to law students across the country and as a result, expand their legal knowledge and experience. The objective of the competition is to develop legal research mastery, initiate practical application of laws, and sharpen oratory skills.

The Moot Court Competition shall take place in an offline format in the month of November 2023.

Eligibility

Students, enrolled in a full-time 3-year LLB or integrated 5-year LLB program at a university, college, and institutions that have been approved by the Bar Council of India are eligible to register in this competition. In accordance with the rules, the organizing committee will accept registrations on a First Come First-Serve basis.

Non-refundable fee payment of INR 3500/- or (INR 5000/- with accommodation only for outstation teams) in the following bank account:

  • Winners – ₹ 20,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
  • Runners Up – ₹ 15,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
  • Best Memorial – ₹ 5,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
  • Best Speaker- Male ₹ 5,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
  • Best Speaker – Female ₹ 5,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
  • Best Researcher – ₹ 5,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit

These Prizes will be issued after a thorough exercise of suitable diligence, proper verification, and due process.

  • Last date for final registration and payment of fees – 31st October, 2023
  • Deadlines for queries related to the moot problem – 7th November 2023
  • Last date for memorial submission (Soft copy) – 16th November 2023
  • Last date for memorial submission (Hard Copy) – 20th November, 2023
  • Draw of Lots – 24th November, 2023
  • Preliminary rounds – 25th November, 2023
  • Researchers’ Test – 25th November, 2023
  • Quarter Final Round – 25th November, 2023
  • Semi-Final Round – 26th November, 2023
  • Final Round – 26th November, 2023
  • Valedictory Ceremony – 26th November, 2023
