The Late Hon’ble Justice M. Fathima Beevi Memorial Moot Court Competition, 2026, organised by the Moot Court Society of the Department of Law, Sister Nivedita University is a national levelMoot Court Competition. It stands as a meaningful step in the journey of providing a platform to those who argue with passion and research with diligence.
The competition is envisioned as a greater stage where aspiring advocates from across the nation can showcase their analytical depth, advocacy skills, and courtroom presence. Its core objective is to nurture and bring forth the finest practical orators, encouraging excellence in legal reasoning, articulation, and professional advocacy.
Theme
Artificial Intelligence Intellectual Property Rights and Commercial Law.
Eligibility
- Each Team shall comprise of three members. The team comprising three members, among which two members shall be designated as ‘Speakers’ and the third member shall be designated as a ‘Researcher’.
- Eligibility Criteria: The competition is open to only the Undergraduate Law students enrolled in UGC recognized and BCI affiliated Center of Legal Education/Law College/University (5 years and 3 years Courses).

- Early Bird Registration Fees for Each Team is Rs. 3000. After the Early Bird Registration Closes, The Registration Fees will be Rs. 3500.
- Registration Fees to be paid through the QR code provided below via PhonePe, which is in the name of Mr. Bhaskar Mukherjee.
- To avail Accommodation Facility, Rs. 500 per person is to be paid per night.
- The Total amount of Accommodation charges, based on thenumber of days, need to be sent together along with theRegistration Fees.

- Winning Team (Final Round – Highest Cumulative Score): Rs. 24,000/- + Merit Certificates + Winners Trophy
- First Runners-Up (Final Round): Rs. 18,000/- + Merit Certificates + 1st Runners-Up Trophy
- Second Runners-Up: Rs. 12,000/- + Certificates + 2nd Runners-Up Trophy
- Best Speaker (Qualifiers Round – Highest Individual Oral Score): Rs. 5,000/- + Merit Certificate + Best Speaker Trophy
- Best Memorial (Highest Written Submission Marks): Rs. 6,000/- + Merit Certificate + Best Memorial Trophy
- Best Researcher (Highest Researcher’s Test Marks): Rs. 5,000/- + Merit Certificate + Best Researcher Trophy
- Quarter-Finalists: Quarter-Finalist Certificates
- Semi-Finalists: Semi-Finalist Certificates
- All Participants: Participation Certificates
- All Merit, Participation, Quarter-Finalist and Semi-Finalist Certificates will be distributed on 2nd May, 2026.

Registration Process
Steps of Registration
- Step 1: Pay the Registration Fees, while making the payment make sure you write the name of the Team Members, and Keep the Screenshot of the Payment that reflects the transaction ID.
- Step 2: Fill up the Registration Form, attach the Screenshot in that form.
- Accommodation Facility will be near the Campus.
- Girls and Boys will be staying separately.
- Dinner will be provided in the accommodation, (breakfast & lunch will be provided in the campus). Rs. 1500 per team is inclusive of the Food.
Kindly Note: Transport Facility will only be provided from the place of Accommodation to the Campus and vice versa. (Based on Fixed timings)
