About the Opportunity

The 3rd National Justice R.R. Aggarwal Memorial Moot Court Competition, 2026 is a prestigious national-level academic event organized by Siddhartha Law College, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The competition will be held on 9th and 10th April 2026 and aims to nurture young legal aspirants by providing a competitive platform to develop advocacy, legal research, drafting, and oral argumentation skills. With the guiding theme “Nurturing Young Aspirants To Render Justice,” the event promotes academic excellence, ethical advocacy, and professional competence among undergraduate law students across India.

Eligibility

The competition is open to students enrolled in bona fide undergraduate law programmes (three-year or five-year courses) offered by recognized universities and institutions. Each institution may send a maximum of three teams. Every team must consist of three members—two speakers (orators) and one researcher. To maintain fairness and impartiality, teams must not disclose their institutional identity during the competition.

Structure

The competition will be conducted in multiple rounds, including Preliminary Rounds I and II, Quarter Finals (subject to discretion of the organizers), Semi-Finals, and the Final Round. All rounds shall be conducted in English. A researcher test will be conducted online to ensure transparency and assess the research aptitude of participants. Time limits for oral arguments, rebuttals, and sur-rebuttals are clearly defined for each round, ensuring a fair and structured competition..

Registration Fee

The registration fee for the competition is ₹5,000 per team. The registration fee includes accommodation and meals for the duration of the competition, entry to all competition rounds and events, and a complimentary one-month SCC Online subscription for each participant.
