About the India Science Fest

India Science Fest is India’s largest public celebration of science and technology. We strongly feel that India needs to step up its S&T and innovation agenda, in order to keep up its economic progress and social development. The gap between science and society needs to be bridged immediately. ISF endeavors to serve as platform for deeper engagement between scientists, researchers, professionals, entrepreneurs and students. We wish to have the public involved in the latest in science and get all actors in the ecosystem to discuss, collaborate and progress together.

ISF 2020 was held in January 2020 at IISER Pune. The event saw several science talks with focus groups, roundtables around science policy, workshops, exhibits and was a beautiful culmination of science with art, music, food, dance and drama.

About the event

ISF, in partnership with CRISP (Centre for Reimagining Innovation and Science Policy), is organizing its next edition of India Science Month Online (ISMO) – January 2021; an online science festival.

CRISP, an initiative of the Centre for Civil Society, is a non-profit institution dedicated to advancing policy solutions that foster scientific enquiry and research and facilitate the creation and dissemination of new scientific knowledge.

For ISMO 2021, the festival theme is health, robotics and space. The fest will feature talks, competitions, games and roundtables, spread over a month. The talks and discussions are aimed at a general, non-specialist audience, and we are expecting a global audience of 30,000+ attendees.

One of the goals this year is to make space exploration fun and informative for everyone. Thus, we’re elated to announce India Science Festival’s collaboration with BLUE ORIGIN’s Club For the Future (CFTF), for the exciting POSTCARD PROGRAM!
