VNCO Legal is inviting applications for Legal Interns in Ahmedabad, offering hands-on exposure to corporate insolvency and liquidation matters under the IBC.
About the Internship
VNCO Legal is looking for 4th and 5th-year law students who are interested in gaining practical experience in corporate insolvency and liquidation matters under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).

Eligibility
- Students pursuing their 4th or 5th year of Law.
- Genuine interest in insolvency and corporate litigation.
- Availability for a running internship of at least 6 months.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to conduct independent legal research.
- Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
The selected interns will work on:
- Drafting and research relating to applications at the stage prior to commencement of insolvency.
- Research on the rights, duties, and interplay between IBC stakeholders, including Resolution Professionals, Committee of Creditors, suspended directors, resolution applicants, and creditors.
- Assisting with interlocutory applications concerning moratorium breaches, non-cooperation by erstwhile management, and avoidance transactions under Sections 66 and 213.
- Reviewing resolution plans and CoC processes and identifying compliance issues.
- Preparing hearing notes, contention-wise briefs, and case summaries for arguing counsel.
Additional Information
The firm offers flexibility around examinations and assignments, including work from home when required.
Interns are expected to maintain professionalism, report on time, recheck their work before sharing it with seniors, and remain curious and willing to learn.
Duration
Minimum 6 months.
