About the internship

Analyze and comprehend data given in the form of documents and dossiers
Manage and analyze large scale data
Draw insights and actionable points from the data and create presentations
Interact with subject matter experts from various fields and verify findings
Assist in policy and legislation analysis and writing reports
Compile secondary research on the day to day happenings and current affairs
Critique government decisions from a legal and regulatory standpoint
Compile and critically analyze various policies (provisions, details, modalities) of the state and central government
Brainstorm with the team on various interventions that can be suggested for the rural ecosystem across development sectors
Work on project monitoring and evaluation for various developmental agencies
Contribute to the creation of fundraising proposals and presentations based on suggested interventions on behalf of a prominent NPO

Other requirements

Candidates who have an educational background (currently pursuing or have completed graduate/post graduate studies)in law, public policy, politics, economics, history, journalism or mass communication would be preferred
Basic understanding of government functioning and procedures
Candidate must have his/her own laptop for the period of the internship
This is an in-office full-time internship based out of Koregaon Park, Pune
Strong command over MS Office – MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint is expected
