About the Internship

LCMA Law Firm is offering a one-month offline training internship at its Zirakpur office. The internship is designed to provide practical exposure to the functioning of a law firm and develop core legal skills through research, drafting, litigation-related work and active participation in ongoing matters.

Interns will primarily receive exposure to:

• Legal Research
• Legal Drafting
• Advocacy and Litigation
• Criminal Litigation
• Civil Litigation
• Matrimonial Matters
• Mediation
• Legal Writing and Case Analysis
• Assisting with ongoing legal matters and office work
• Other practical aspects of legal practice

This is a skill-oriented training opportunity. Interns will be expected to actively participate in assigned work and demonstrate discipline, commitment and willingness to learn.

Eligibility

• Students pursuing a 3-Year LL.B. or 5-Year Integrated Law Programme may apply.
• Law students from any year are eligible.
• Candidates should have a genuine interest in litigation and practical legal work.
• Candidates must be able to attend the Zirakpur office for the complete internship period.
• Candidates must be available from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.
• Candidates should be hardworking, disciplined and willing to learn.

Duration and Mode

• Duration: One Month
• Commencement: October 2026 onwards, on a rolling basis
• Mode: Offline
• Location: Zirakpur Office, Chandigarh Tricity
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday
• Office Timings: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Stipend: Unpaid

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

• Application Form
• CV
• Interview

Certification and Evaluation

A certificate of internship may be issued to candidates who successfully complete the internship and meet the applicable requirements relating to:

• Attendance and punctuality
• Completion of assigned work and tasks
• Active participation
• Professional conduct and discipline
• Overall performance

Certification is not automatic merely upon joining the internship.

Additional Opportunities

Based on performance, commitment, professionalism and suitability during the internship, selected interns may be considered for:

• A further three-month offline internship at LCMA Law Firm.
• A Letter of Recommendation (LOR) for exceptional performers.
• Career guidance and assistance for candidates demonstrating genuine interest and potential in litigation.

These opportunities are performance-based and are not guaranteed to every intern.
